Hey there, I’m Jeff.
I’m a dad of two, a husband, and someone who has always had a “there has to be a better way to do this” kind of brain.
For the last decade, I’ve worked in startup finance and operations, building the systems, processes, and infrastructure that keep fast-moving companies from falling apart. It’s the kind of work that trains you to look at chaos and ask: what’s the actual structure underneath this?
At some point it hit me that parenting needs that same thinking just as much as any startup does.
Not rigid rules. Not cold efficiency. Just simple frameworks that make family life feel a whole lot less stressful.
Like most dads, I reached a point where everything felt like a blur. School routines, meals, bills, health tracking, kids’ emotions, schedules, toys everywhere, bedtime, trying to take care of myself on top of it all.
You know exactly what I mean.
Nobody hands you a playbook for any of this.
So I started building my own.
I began paying attention to what actually worked and what didn’t. I tried different routines. I tested tools and apps. I simplified our finances. I leaned into autonomy-focused parenting. Little by little, I created small systems that made our days smoother and more intentional.
And slowly, life at home got better.
Not perfect. Just better.
Calmer. Clearer. More connection. Less overwhelm.
That’s what this newsletter is about.
I’m not a parenting expert. I’m not handing out golden rules. I’m just a dad applying what I know about systems and operations to the hardest job I’ve ever had, and sharing what’s actually helping along the way.
If you’re a dad who wants more clarity, more intention, and more sanity in family life, you’re in the right place.
Let’s figure this out together.
Jeff
